Hello,
I have an HP 2840 All-In-One laserjet network printer that we have been using successfully for 2 years. We went away for a week's vacation and when I came home the printer no longer responds to my PC or any of my 3 laptops. It worked perfectly before but now not at all. The display on the printer says it's "Ready" and the network webpage for the printer says its "Ready" plus I can see it in my network. It will print command prints from it's own software but it won't print any kind of doc from any of the other computers anymore. The printer is hard wired into my router and all computers on my network are wireless, even the PC - I have an AP hooked up to my router for wireless communication. My laptops run Vista Home Premuim and XP Pro SP2 while the PC is Vista 64-bit.

It's worked before flawlessly. Why dosen't it work now after being away for a week? Nothing has changed as far as set up is concerned. I checked with the neigbors and we didn't have any significant storms or events that might cause a disruption.

It says it's on and ready to go but it doesn't go. I'm baffled. Any help?

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0
