Nero detects my virtual drive not dvd writer

Hello,
I was burning dvd roms easy with my LG dvd writer till yesterday but my friend installed a program called bootdisk after which nero just detects a virtual drive under writing devices and cant detect my LG dvd writer I checked my BIOS and disk drives and the dvd drive is present and working properly but Nero just cant detect it
I use Nero 7 and i work as a music producer so I am really need to get this fixed quick Hope you guys come up with a fix Thank you

PS: I found out my friend got the 'bootdisk' software from something called 'The One Eyed Dude (or) Dudes' when he downed a game
