My Think Pad Laptop can't show my webcam

Hello, i'm having problem with my new webcam. i have laptop from IBM(Thinkpad). recently i bought a new webcam that's INKI1 but when connecting my webcam it shows totally black screen at webcam windows. i tried so many times to sort it out but failed, what could be the ploblem? can u figure it?
