Hello,
Yesterday, I had to step out for a while. I left my computer running. When I returned, System Security was running and requesting my credit card information. I tried to delete the program, nothing. I found out that it had removed all my virus protection (Norton) and I could not re-install it. Tried downloading McAfee, PC Tools etc. all were blocked by this system. I did not apply for it nor did I activate. Every few minutes it will pop up and ask to be activated. How can I get rid of it without paying a lot of money. The lowest quote I got was $99. I donot have that kind of money. Please help. If you can tell me how to manually get rid of it I will appreciate. Right not I can not use my command feature nor data resstore or delete programs.

Thank you

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 8.0

I think u have unfortunately visited an adware site instead of reall and safe programs and there for that adware site is showing ads popups and forcing you to buy thier software.it might be a scam. you should install a reall and free anti spyware tool like one of the followings
Malware Bytes anti malware http://darfuns.com/download-malwarebytes/
Super Anti Spyware http://darfuns.com/download-super-anti-spyware/

ATTENTION!!! remove it NOW!

SOLUTION to SYSTEM SECURITY 2009 (rogue)

For those of you who says: I cant open Task Manager, I cant open any Anti-virus, I cant open any Anti Malware(ex:Malwarebytes), I cant open ANY EXE.FILES!!!(because the virus blocks it ALL).

Then i have a simple yet effective trick:
RENAME THE FILE

if you rename the file then SYSTEM SECURITY will not be able to block it. which is good for you to activate all your ANTI-etc.

The only problem is that you wont be able to open the task manager because you cant rename it. So my suggestion is to download: procexp from www.sysinternals.com
it is a free software that acts as a task manager; but the difference is that it is BETTER coz it shows even the hidden process (and it's also user friendly) note: dont forget to rename for you to access

if you have it, kill the thing that looks like a shield(SYSTEM SECURITY) then the rest of the instructions are free for you too find.
hope this helps... ganbatte kudosai

ps. forward my guide too all

Amazingly enough, renaming the folder and executable worked! I can't believe that with all the stuff this idiotic piece of carpware disables, it still lets you rename the files...

I do have processxp of sysinternals but the damn system sec thing seems to block its exe too.. im gonna try booting up in safe mode in safe mode and i will try to delete the autorun and the sys sec exe itself.. i thinks its located in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\18013904\18013904.exe

i dunno if this will work but i think its worth trying... i also used autoruns from sysinternals to search for the system security's autorun that it hooks at the startup...
