No sound in my laptop (no audio device) help

Hello,
im ali. please help me i cant not hear any sound of my laptop,( no audio device) i dont have installing cd,what should i do?

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

HI,

U have to install ur Audio device : download, then run its driver.
Tell the mark and tne model of ur laptop and I'll probably be able to gave u a link to download this driver.

My laptop version is compaq presario CQ40...

There is a lot of CQ40 ...
