Hello,
I have an hp laptop. I tried rebooting it one day recently and ever since I haven't been able to reconnect to the internet. I did everything you're supposed to with regard to unplugging and starting everything back up again. I have not changed any settings at all. I have another laptop at home that still works just fine so it is not my router. The router is an ASUS 520GU. I've taken the router and the laptop to a reputable computer store for tuneup and check and they say everything is fine. I get onto the internet whiile connected through ethernet cables just fine but when I go to my wireless assistant to help connect it says that there is not connection to the internet, even though I'm already on it and surfing the net. This is driving me crazy. Can someone please help. I'm wondering if my cables are in the right ports. My ethernet from the moden is going to the WAN port and then I have an ethernet cable going from Line 1 port to my ethernet port on my laptop.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.10
