Inspiron E1505 keys issue

Hello,


I've had an issue for quite sometime with several keys on my Dell Inspiron E1505. From what I can tell only a handful of keys are affected. A few examples:
Hitting the spacebar does a space and the letter n.

Typing the letter n does a date stamp and letter n.

Typing the letter m does a return and the letter m.

Typing the letter y deletes the previous letter and inserts the y.

There are a few other keys that do similar issues. I cannot relate these issues back to anything. Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue, and what may have caused it?

Hello


If this is a laptop, see your User manual. Laptops often have situations where something other than the default you may expect is done when the keyboard is set to certain modes.

If that doesn't help make sure your Language and Keyboard settings are correct in Control Panel.
If that doesn't help, your keyboard may be faulty and needs to be replaced.
If this is a desktop, make sure your Language and Keyboard settings are correct in Control Panel,

and/or, in either case, if it is corded, try another keyboard.

I have a similar issue, but in my case E, D, C does not work.
