Shutdown and immediately restarts

Hello,


I have a friend with a Compaq Presario running WXP Home, don't remember the Celeron speed, about 360 RAM, and
when she does the normal Start>Turn off computer>Turn off thing it shuts down, then after about 3 seconds restarts
itself. Anyone know why?
Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello


you can try to use command "shutdown -f -s -t 0" to shutdown computer if also fail, try to remove all accessary parts and then test your mainboard and power supply ok or not.
