Hello,

I can not open a streaming radio station that I like. The error message says"CLASS NOT REGISTERED" and some other goofy stuff. How do I fix this? I do not like Internet Explorer 8 at all

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

I totaly agree. I downloaded IE8 thinking, hey, it's the next great thing! Man, what a waste! Websites take forever to open and my whole system seemed to run slower. I eventually uninstalled the update and reverted beck to IE7. MUCH happier now.

Roll back to IE 7

Start > Control panel > Add remove programs > look in list IE 8 > Click remove.

I understand the uninstalling of IE8, but how does that revert me to IE7? My Control Panel/AddRemove list does not show any versions/updates of IE other than IE8. Is there a quick way to preserve all my Favorites/Links, or do I have to enter them all again?

Thanks

but as as I open Opera -instant speed, however, even Oper fails to open a webpage now and then ever since IE8 was installed. Basically IE8 has effected all http/.../port 80 requests ? IE8 has screwed around with a lot more things that just being a basic web-broweser.

YUP, IE8 is still HORRIBLE !, IE8 almost seems to selectively work on websites that it wants to show.
Whats goin' on with Microsoft ? -DO they not know how bad IE8 has really been. !!???
M$ really sucks now. This is how Billy-Bob wants to control "OUR" public Internet ?

Every other OS out there (Apple, Linux, *BSD's , PS3, ...) use a basic Unix NetOS.

'comon Bill throw the towel in -its finally over for WinBlows. !!!
