Ehm, i'm not sure about this. But i've heard that the program Kill Disk, removes all data on the disk. Therefore, not formatting it. I think you can use it on you're pendrive aswell.

As far as i know, it's free software.

Best of luck;).

Hello,
I bought a 16GB Kingston USB Flash Drive to put music on it to play in my car on the deck, when i inserted it on my computer and tried to open it to copy music to it, it indicated that i needed to format it so i did in FAT32. It was formatted successful but when i put in the music and tried to play it on the deck some of the songs played but after track 11 the rest is showing "not supported" i checked it back on the computer but the files cannot be open with any player in my computer either, and the folders are empty. I tried reformatting it but i get the same problem, i copy some music to it ensure that there is files in the folders and when i take it out and put it back in the folders that i copied to it is empty, I need help i've never come across a problem like this, i need help anyone who can help me please.

The reason your flash drive ceeps forgetting what you have saved to it is because of fat32 having a a maximum 4GB file limit meaning anything over GB in a single folder will be forgotten once flash drive is removed, the solution format in NTFS with a 2 terabyte file limit :)

HI I M Dilip from INDIA,

My PenDrive (Kingston 4gb data traveler) is notworking on My DVD player attached with TV. set. I think when I format this disk I lost the system files on this drive, which may be essential for DVD player to read properly.

Because last time when It works very well on my DVD player, the hidden system files were exist on it.

So tell me the way, and if possible send me system files (generally default hidden files/folders), so I can test by storing again them on usbdrive.

thanks in advance.

Your future student,

DILIP from INDIA.
