USB storage device issues

Hello,
I'm having an issue with a usb device. It had some stuff I wanted to keep on it, but it broke. I can still plug it in, and with a little moving around, the light comes on, especially if I hold it at a specific angle. However, now it shows up as an unknown device, and I can't get it to read on two computers.

Is there ANY way I can keep the stuff on it, or will it be gone forever? I would even just be happy transferring the data to a computer, and getting rid of the memory stick, I just want the information on it.

it's may be infected by some viruses. I will advice you to scan it with your antivirus!
