Windows explorer has encountered a problem

Hello,
Whenever i am opening any drive on my laptop it gives the message that "windows explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close". then either i have to click on send or don't send option after which i have to press ctrl+alt+del and have to manually end that task. i am in a panic that i am unable to open any of my drives. please send me any solution to the problem.

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 2.0.0.20

I will recommend you scanning your drives! this is due to a virus.. do not forget to update your antivirus regularly!
