Cannot open webmail attachment

Hello, for some reason i now cannot open any attachments to my tiscali emails, have microsoft office 2007 installed, and have vista basic. i also installed McAffee, a couple of months ago, would installing this change any settings

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0
