Hello,
I have a COMPAQ Presario V6000, and suddenly, it will not read discs DVD or CD.
I have gone to Device Manager and unistalled the driver and reinstalled (about ten times). I have unistalled DVDFAb which was a DVD burning programme I had installed. I have rebooted so many times and still it won't work. I have checked that my laptop is set to autoplay CDs and DVDs and it still won't do it.
When I put a disc in the laptop, the green light on the drawer comes on, and the disc turns and clicks, but then stops and the laptop does nothing. If I go to My Computer and try to open the disc from there, I get the error message: Please insert a disc into Drive E:.
Can anyone help me, as I am tearing my hair out.
