My hp sound is no more

Hello,
My hp laptop audio hardware is no more what can I do to get it.

This is the respond I am always getting any time try playing it
Can not play back the audio hardware is available, or the hardware is not responding

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.10

Try to reinstall ur Audio device.
U'll find the driver u need going to http://welcome.hp.com/country/uk/en/support.html
