You can install any operating system in your laptop by disabling SATA Drive from your bois setup. Once you disable SATA Drive from setup then you are allowed to install any OS on your machine.

try to follow following steps:
1) Go to BIOS setting
2) find sata setting (name may be diff..)
3) change it to ATA.
4) save setting and run xp installation..

I tried installing XP pro but couldnt succees. after going thru all the forums and tried almost everything. using nLite i created winXP OS with SCSI drivers loaded and tried but no use, pressed F7 to ignore SCSI from detecting, but so far no luck. can you please send me the SCSI SATA HDD drivers to my mail
