Hello,

Okay I have an HP Pavilion dv9000, running on windows vista, with a Optiarc DVD RW AD-7560A ATA Device. Problem is, is that it doesn't read cd's anymore, but I can still play dvd's. I've tried going to the Device manager and uninstalling and rebooting, going to registry editor and deleting lower and upper filters in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --SYSTEM -- CurrentControlSet -- Control -- Class ..... (you get it). And so far nothing has helped. What else is there for me to do, help me please.

Jen

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.10

Hi,
there may be a problem with the lense's wavelength.
this cannot be solved by any way except getting the drive replaced.
