Wifi for my ipod touch

Hello,
Alright, my desktop is running off of a cable/DSL router and i would like to get wifi for my ipod touch 1g is there someway to get internet either through a wifi network somehow or is there something i can buy to make so i can use the internet from my desktop?

Is it Cable or DSL? I use a DLink "Wireless Router" attached to my cable adapter and it works fine after a simple setup to add a security password at both ends . A DSL connection might use the pppoe interface and be a little harder to set-up. A quick search found this DSL modem that has built-in wireless "Netopia 3347w Wireless DSL Modem". This replaces the current DSL modem. Good Luck
