Audio Drivers for Pavilion DV4 - 1199ee

Hi Fellas,

I just bought my new Lappy. HP Pavilion DV4 1199ee i have some how managed to install Windows XP Media Center Ed. on it but I cant get the Audio drivers to install.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Hello,

U have first to install the Microsoft UAA package ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp33501-34000/sp33867.exe
Then the driver for ur IDT High Definition Audio device ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp42001-42500/sp42298.exe

I tried but filed to get the sound on my lappy :(

1st UAA it works and brings 2 things in hardware list.

but 2nd driver does not gets installed and the following error appears:

"The hardware detected is not supported by this IDT software package. the installlation will be aborted"
