We have a Medion laptop and is about 2 years old. On Saturday night I switched the laptop off as usual. Yesterday morning I switched it on, it asked for my password, put it in and it carried on as normal, but then after a minute or so, while it is busy starting up, the screen goes blank, but the computer is still on as you can hear it running. I then restarted the computer in safe mode, and it works ok i.e the screen does not go off. Any ideas/suggestions? I am desperate, please help.
