G1 video play songs

Hello,


I am facing a problem in my g1 that i want to play my favourite video songs..from downloading to my PC..when i put these songs in my g1 throuh data cable and when i searched in my mobile i found only mp3 songs not mp4 or any other kind of video songs...also tell me about how to install application in this set.
