If the instructions here don't work for you, you might be limited to either changing your ISP or using a proxy server service like http://www.iprivacytools.com .. But first try this: for some ISP’s, just powerfing off your modem off for a few hours and then back on will get you a new IP. If that doesn't work, unplug any router you're using, plug your computer directly into the modem, and restart your modem+computer. Then go to START menu, type “cmd” and hit enter. At prompt type “ipconfig /release” and then hit enter. Right-click on the symbol for “local area connection” and click “properties”. Doubleclick “tcp/ip”, check “Use the following IP address” and enter 111.111.111.111 for the ip and 255.0.0.0 for the subnet mask. Click “OK” out of there. Wait a minute, go back into that dialog box and tick “obtain an IP address automatically”.Go to your START menu, type “cmd” and Enter, then type “ipconfig /release”.
