How to connect my lap top without using route

Hello,
can any body halp me?

i m using 7 desktops in my office all the systems are connected through lan with a router, we are using a wireless intra net to connect to our server. all the persons having there user name and passwords to connect to the server that is situated in the same city.

i have a wi-fi enabled laptop and want co connect to that server without using that router.

is is possible to access that server from my laptop.

(NOTE : we dont have a internet access in our office. we can only access and connect to only that systems that are in our premices.)

pls help me and show me the way how can i connect my laptop.

Firefox 3.0.4

Sounds like you answered your own question...they are running on WIRELESS for the main PCs therefore you would need to connect to the router via wireless, the only other method would still require a switch or 2nd router to connect to the primary to be able to patch into it.

you can access the server if it has wireless.

He stated he doesnt want to use the current wireless host device...so thats not an option it seems
