I can not watch live streaming

Hello,

I dont have any problem with youtube video or other video players.
My problem is that I can not watch the live streaming video or tv channels.I have a high speed internet and the problem is not from speed.when I click on a channel to watch it says connecting to the media but then nothing happens and after a while it says READY.
Any suggestion?

Thanks for reply but the problem is serious than what I thought. A friend of mine took his computer to my house and his computer was showing the channel from the same website that mine can not connect. there should be a problem with my computer but i dont know what it could be!!I reinstalled the java even but no luck.

Hey i am having the same problem when i try to watch something live, it says Media Connecting.. then it says Ready

i dont kno what to do! have u figured out the solution... if so pleaseee help!

check ur system drive space..............it should b about 1 gb free.to play best

Yes it is more than 1gb free... im thinking mayb me internet connection which is verizon mayb they dont allow it or something? or blocked it thru firewall..
