Connect to internet and lan at the same time

Hello,

I'm An....i want to connect to the internet and LAN at the same time....im using dlink switch...
the problem is when i key in both IP address and DNS server i can only get LAN connection and no Internet connection..

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.9

Here's more info :

modem are connect to the switch...

IP Adress : 192.168.0.2
255.255.255.0
192.168.0.2

DNS Server : 202.188.0.133
202.188.1.5

I can connect to LAN bot internet..no...

but when i clear the IP Address...internet can connect...

Just replace that switch with router, then you can access LAN and Internet together. You can take a look on these Ethernet home network and wireless network setup tutorial for more ideas.
