2007 will not load on laptop or pc

Hello,
I have Microsoft 2003 and my 2007 disk won't install so i tried on my laptop and it says "Setup Did not complete. We are sorry for any inconveniance. An error occured during the installation, and setup was unable to complete" that was on my laptop, but on my pc nothing comes up in the disk drives....
Suggestions???
