Wmp codec virus

Hello,


I downloaded a codec from WMP 9 and my computer started to get slow, and infected with viruses. PLEASE HELP
iv tried spyware, but nothing seems to work.
Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Scan with AV, identify virii and remove them?

What AV program are you using?

Simple fact, you did NOT download a codec, you downloaded a VIRUS!

Always virus scan your comp and downloaded files before installing, also it does'nt hurt to have a good registry scan and fix progam N Anti-spyware program

Always virus scan your comp and downloaded files before installing, also it does'nt hurt to have a good registry scan and fix progam N Anti-spyware program, personaly i use Mcafee AV and Spyware doctor
