Hello, for some reason, IE is not remembering my log-in and P/Ws. I have put the sites in "safe", I have allowed every cookie known to man and God and it absolutely refuses to remember my logins and P/W. I made sure my .netPassport was current and entered. I make sure the "remember me" switches are toggled. It resolutely refuses to do so. This is a brand new computer, brand new install of XP Pro SP3 and brand new install of IE 8.

I figure there must be a switch/checkbox/something I have missed. Can someone help?

many thanks

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 8.0

I have the same problem with you. IE 8 that caused it I guess, but I am not really sure.
I still try to find out. If you got the answers please let me know.

Thanks.

Hi, I had the same problem. You go into tools, on the general tab uncheck delete files on exit. Then go to the content tab, click on autocomplete settings and make sure there is a check in forms and passwords. According to microsoft, putting a checkmark in the delete all files on exit on the general tab resets handling to the default. It fixed mine, hope it works for you.
