Cant open programs that requires confirmation

pls..someone help me,,im using windows vista,,right now,i cant open files or programs that requires a user account confirmation..when i try to open them, a message saying "parameter is incorrect" appears..i am logged on as the administrator and i dont have other user accounts on this pc..please can someone help me to fix this problem..=(

'im the owner..this is my pc at home..i dont know what happened..i just woke up and found out that there was a problem
