Unknown CPU Detected Bios Update is required

Hello,
I upgraded my pc into 2.50 Ghz dual core and 512 mb video card and when i turn on the computer there was a message said Unknown CPU Detected Bios Update is required to unleash its full power. how can i fix it?

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

The BIOS may have additional settings for the CPU that need enabling....or it can sense theres a BIOS update to a newer build prehaps.
