Hello, The icon for my sound in the bottom right corner of my gateway laptop (Vista) has a big red X. When I move the cursor over the icon it says "No Audio Output Installed." I went into the recovery file and it seems to be reinstalling, but when it is finished it still says the same thing. Is there something that could be disabled or is there something else that I should try?

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0
