Hello,

I have a small issue, not serious but annoying for a user i have.

we recently changed from symantec to kaspersky, and this problem came up.

whenever the user opens outlook, the error message comes up saying 'error loading symantec add-in, missing vpmsece4.dll file.'

so i went into tools\options\other\advanced options\ addin manager and i unchecked the box for symantec add in to disable it.

but whenever the user restarts the computer, it becomes checked again, so the error message comes up again.

is there anyway to permanently uninstall / disable this symantec add in.

try this link to download a software named Revo Uninstaller:

you will be able to remove every piece of the symantec using this software .
