Hello,
I recently bought a 80GB Kingston Pen Drive from Palika Bazar in delhi. but i think it is a counterfeit one. when i copied to it about 11 GB of movies, it corrupted almost all of the files and all the folders were filled with recursive folders. this is a queer problem. i have installed the requisite patch for exFAT update from MICROSOFT. i use Windows XP SP2 along with 2.24GB of RAM. please advice me how to approach the problem

Configuration: Windows XP

Palika Bazar is full of fake usb pendrives

it's a huge scam that's been going on for ages, and someone is making a lot of money from this

i'm sure that many visitors to delhi are cheated this way, mostly they don't realise the drive is fake until they are miles away

(the fake drives are a bit clever, because when you plug them into a computer and look at the properties, it says they have the correct capacity. and they have a little bit of memory in them, so if you test out a few small files, these copy ok. but try to copy anything bigger and you're wasting your time....)

it's time something was done about this
