No wireless adapter in the system

Hello,
somebody help me!
i used dell latitude D600 but i have a problem with it, i can not enjoy wireless i tried to install wireless drivers but this notification NO WIRELESS ADAPTER FOUND IN THE SYSTEM appeared after install wireless driers. so i need help! what is this??!!
or should i repair my OS?

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 2.0.0.14
