Problem in reading dvd

Hello,

I have 1 HDD & 3 cd drives(CDROM,SONY CD-RW,
sony DVD-RW).I installed them as follows IDE1(HDD(MASTER),CD-RW(SLAVE))& IDE2(DVD-RW(MASTER),CDROM(SLAVE)).but the problem is with DVD-RW.

1.when i burn DVD it burns sucessfully but when i want to see dvd it is showning this message WINDOWS CANNOT READ FROM THIS DISK.THE DISK MIGHT BE CORRUPTED,OR IT COULD BE USING A FORMAT THAT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS.I am using NERO 7 ESSENTIALS which is given with DVD-RW.

2.But when i play same DVD in other DVD-RW it plays but i couldnot play.

3.Is there any problem with DVD-RW or with IDE connections or any setting to be changed or any problem with DVDlens.please slove this problem.

Hello

You probably don't have any codecs to play DVD media installed on the host computer.

One other thing to note. You should be using an 80 wire IDE cable with a DVD burner. You can identify an 80 wire cable by the colored connectors on the cable. Black, grey and on the MBoard end blue, red, yellow, etc. 40 wire are usually all black.
