Hello,

I have a Pentax Optio L60 Digital Camera. I can record Videos on it, but when I upload them to the computer, I can play only the audio, as the actual video comes up blank??!!

I have tried inserting the software for the camera, have tried opening the file on VLC, Windows Movie Maker and other programmes, but it will only play the sound. The file is stated as an AVI file - ACDSee 9.0 AVI Video and states that it opens with - See 9 Photo Manager which I have done!!
I use Finepix viewer to view my photos and a video comes up with a picture of the start of the video but if you click on it, I get nothing except the sound! I hope this is enough information, I cant seem to find on the internet anywhere that can help, so if some one knows something that may aid me, please help!!!

A very perplex and somewhat lost little pixie!

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.5

Check this site for info about AVI playback

http://msmvps.com/blogs/chrisl/articles/10453.aspx

You may need to download a "codec" so that Windows Media Player can play the AVI sub-type that your Pentax is producing. This codec says it works with Pentax files:
