Hello,
sir im having BSNL evdo connection of 2mbps
but sir im just having speed 180 kBps ... its very slow.... wat i hav to do..... to get maximum speed....

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.8

Same thing happened to me, so I bought a new LAN card. Believe me I tried everything from downloading to some crazy advise and it will never work. Your wasting time just buy that darn LAN card.

Use some download accelerator like skdownloader

i'm using the bsnl evdo for last 1 month.for these one month what i hv noticed is that there are some areas in my room where i'm getting very high speed( download speed of 100-130kb/s). by the way i'm giving some points which may help to increase ur speed. how ever all these ar my observation.
1. i'm using it at the ground floor. when I took it to the 1st floor i got an amazing speed.
2. use any download manager. i'm using IDM.
3. connect the evdo modem with the computer(pc/laptop) using the usb cable that was given along with the modem.
4. keep the modem about 1.5 feet above or see where u r getting increasing speed.
frnds i hv tried this and getting a very good speed.

Just go for tata photon plus its little bit expensive but speed is good download 500 kbps nd up load 450 kbps..

nd it will cost u 3200 rs with 1st month free nd any plans u can choose but unlimited is not available in this. 15 gb

max. for 1500 rs
