I recently purchased an old powemac g4 computer just for the fun as i never ever used a mac!
So now im having problems with it like i cannot watch youtube videos and when i try to send email on hotmail it crashes?!...i have installed some mozilla browser i dont know what version but mozilla.com says i need to update it as it is old, but ofcourse i cannot update because the new mozilla dont support mac os 9.2...its all very weird to me this 9.0 9.2 os osx i have no idea what it all means i just know that my screen says OS 9.2 when i startup so thats what im going by here...Anyway when i try to watch a youtube video on this machine, i get a error message saying " You either have javascript turned off or adobe flash player not installed click here to install latest version" then again i cannot install latest version because this computer is too old for that version...So im wondering what to do here? Is it even possible to watch youtube videos on this old computer? What are my options? ANy suggestions are highly appreciated...thanks...guys..
Configuration: Mac OS 9.2 IE 5
I recently loaded (then un-loaded) MS Word onto my computer and after that everytime I use Flash 5 and go to the Actions menu it crashes my computer. I have exhausted eveything that I can think of to alleviate this problem. I have reloaded the programme, deleted all MS programmes even disabled extentions. If anyone can give me a tip on how I can sort this out, I would be most appreciative. Cheers.
