Hello,
i just recently got a hp pavilion laptop. it had vista on it but i cant stand vista any longer so i switched to xp. i have found all but two of the drivers... i was wondering if someone can help me out... im missing the ethernet controller, and the modem driver. i would greatly appreciate any help i can get on this... im stuck! :(

hp pavilion DV6871us laptop
running xp pro

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

It would be more easy if you could send me the model number.. or you can download the drivers on the HP official website

I tried looking on the website but they dont have the specific drivers that im looking for...
there are 3 different model numbers on my laptop, im not sure which one you need so i will list them all.

HP Pavilion DV6700
DV6000
DV6871us

I've been Downgrading my HPDV6871us to XP as well. This link is to a forum where someone has posted links to all the drivers you should need.

The only Issue I'm having now is that my FN hotkeys and quickplay keys do not work.
