Installing ADSL2+ Modem

Sandira, on Tuesday May 27, 2008 02:05:39 PM
Hello,

I am planning to try out ADSL2+ and I have just bought an ADSL2+ modem on ebay. The new modem is a Thomson ST536 v6 but it didnt come with a setup CD. My ISP has ADSL2+ plans that I am able to change to and they said any ADSL2+ modem would work fine if it has an installation disk. Can anyone offer me suggestions as to how to proceed?
Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Hai

If the modem is Ethernet you don't need an installation disk, there is nothing to install. The configuration instruction will be on the manufactures web site.
