Try this using manual driver update option.

i have recently brought a new laptop hp -dv6705au but i don,t want vista....has anyone got a link to all drivers of this model including audio,video,chipset....everything.....please help me....

hi!

mine is the same model. i myself is wondering how to get my good old xp on it. few xp drivers on available on hp site itself. (try searching ur model on it).
try this audio driver

u won't find all xp drivers for dv6700 series. few r available at hp.com/in. for me i've done dual os, xp and vista just to scrutinise the performance. 6700 series comes wid nvidia geforce 7150 or above for which no drivers for xp are available. myself is still looking for the same. while os system is xp it works widout graphic card, internal bluetooth dont work, display remains bad. whatever i'm searching for the graphic drivers i'll post the link d day i found them. till then better luck.

Use this link to define the VGA driver, which was the biggest problem...

but i could not find all of them but some of them are given at hp.com/in .
