Hello,

I have a desktop computer I would like to hook up in one of my rooms upstairs in my house, however, downstairs where it is currently set up, is where I have my modem and router all coming from what used to be our home phone line. A few months ago, we cancelled our home phone and added a line to our cell phone plan;We kept only our internet. The rooom I want to hook up the desktop does not have a phone line. I was told if I purchased a wireless network USB adapter it would work. I also have a laptop that works with my wireless router (kept downstairs with the modem and desktop).

I hope this is not too confusing, just looking for someone to help.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Internet Explorer 7.0
