Hello,
My daughter is trying to use windows live messenger on new Vista pc. Problem is she installed it but then deleted the programs - not using the programme uninstall, just by deleting them. Now, when she tries to re-install windows live it says the programmes are already installed! please can you suggest what she can do easily to fully delete and then re-install or some other way to get around this. Thanks.

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.8

I had similar issues although that was caused by poor uninstall of the older beta version, anyway the cure is simple enough....install the complete offline installer edition as it doesn't fail during install unlike the quick web install version.
