Hello,

hello actually i have a hp pavilion dv2000 laptop wanted to format it it contains 2 drives c: and d: .
the d:drive is named as hp recovery and c has the xp in it so should i format the c drive and install xp in it , would it cause any problem to it , would foratting the c drive harm the laptop by erasing the drivers do give the permission t

Yes if you format the drive c: you will lose your OS and all drivers.

You laptop has a hard disk which is divided by two partitions ( c: and d:) all you must do is to do a fresh installation of windows save all your files in drive d:

How do i format my hppavilion dv2000 labtop?, do i need a disc or can i restore it , it is operating very slow right now
