Where can i get the name of my motherboard

Hello,
I am a begginers here,i have a problem i know its not as big as you have,but for me its very conflict.First i format my personal computer, then i install all the application except the sound,.i search and i read that they need a driver for the sound..now they have procedure to install the free drivers in net,but the big problem for me is i don't know what mother board i have used,then second is i do not have background how to do.

I hope you can teach me or help me,i really need sound for my pc.

Start/Run, dxdiag

U'll find System Manufacturer and System Model

If it doesn't match I'llexplain u how to use Everest.

When the PC first loads "Posts" it shows a string code and displays all the pc Specs....unless you have a picture at that point, in which case theres usually a option to select that shows the screen when pressed.

Msinfo32 might have the info. Click on Start, go to Run, type msinfo32 and hit enter.
