Hello,

I selected HTTP as mail server when i registered my domain.ISP gave me incoming mail server.
When i was set up my name@mydomainname.com to outlook i gave all the information related to that.
when i click send/receive in my outlook i got the error like "Inbox Synchronizing Headers".
I cann't understand what's wrong?
did i select the wrong mail server(HTTP)?
is HTTP accepts only hotmail,msn or it accepts other private domains also?
what is the difference between HTTP,POP and IMAP?
i want to receive my client requests from my website and i want to respond them.
can you please let me know what type of mail server can i use for that?
can you please give me the suggestion?

Hi,
it may be that you wrongly configured your Outlook account.

Thanks for your suggestion.
i checked mysite properties it's showing as follows.

Protocol : Hyper Text Transfer Protocol

Type : COM/WWW/File

Address : http://sites.google.com/a/mydomainname.com/www/
(URL)

when i was setting up outlook with myname@mydomainname.com i selected the information as follows

Account type : HTTP
Provider : other
Incoming Mail server : i entered this same as Address (URL) i.e http://sites.google.com/a/mydomainname.com/www/

when i tested to send/receive mailbox i got the error like Inbox Synchronizing Headers
did i provide correct details?
is HTTP allows send/receive requests in outlook?
Can u please explain me using my details?
