My computer boots buts doesnt display icons

Hello,

my computer doesnt display icons only the background. i have tried ctrl+alt+del it gives message that the task has been disabled by the administrator. whats the problem and how can get into the administrator? please help!!

Please try to repair yr operating system then update the anitvarius you have and scan your pc.

I thank that will work, I always get such problems on my client PCs

This is very simple i had the same problem
some how the file explore exe in the windows folder has been deleted if you know anyone with a computer running xp you can copy this file and past it into yours its as simple as that and verythink should work ok
