Hello,
I am having the same issue except on my Vista Laptop (Compaq) the registry fix did not work. Also whenever I try to open my drive, the light just flashes really fast and it never opens. When I try ejecting, it gives me an error message. My drive was working fine the other day and now when I tried to watch a movie today it doesnt seem to work. Every few hours or so when I try again the drive will open once but will not do it again.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.8
