Can not start my hp pavilion

i have problem with my laptop-HP Pavilion 6000 series
first was the problem,laptop start working but the screen stays
black,when i use external monitor shous that everithing is ok.
i reinstal my windows vista ,because i was thining that this will fix the problem,
i instal the not legal one VISTA BLACK...but the problem was still there,,,same
,,black screen.....in last days,,it change,,
NOW THE LAPTOP,AFTER A START...SOUDS TREE BEEPS,AND DOES NOT STARTING AT ALL...
,,ONLY TREE BEEPS,,,AND THAT IS IT....PLEASE ADVISE...
I APPRIACIATE YOUR HELP.,...
