Acer aspire one zg5

Hello,
i have one of these little laptops and apparently the screen does not work i can hear the hard drive or the fan start up and feel a littlle wind blowing from the fan.how can i check if it is the screen that is the problem.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

Connect another monitor to the laptop and check if it displays, if it does then troubleshoot the laptop may be is a software problem. use the monitor attached to it to troubleshoot it. if it does not work then know that your screen is bad, you can change it. for troubleshooting tips visit http://online-computer-repairs.blogspot.com/...
